Marracuene receives two rice husking machines for Macaneta and Taúla – Watch

Marracuene District benefited on Friday (07-05) took delivery of two rice husking machines, donated by Maputo Provincial Executive Council via the Provincial Directorate for Agriculture and Fisheries.
The machines are expected to improve the production, processing and marketing of the large quantity of rice produced in the district.
Kátia Comé, Director of the Maputo governor’s office, urged the recipients to look after the equipment, so it could continue to act as a driving force for increasing production and productivity.
District Administrator Shafee Sidat thanked the government for choosing Marracuene as recipient, and giving residents renewed hope concerning production in the present campaign.
