Mozambique Elections: Some roads blocked in the capital

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, will participate, this Wednesday, in the city of Pemba, Cabo Delgado province, in the signing ceremony of the agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADER), and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) , for the implementation of the Emergency Project, O País reports..
According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, “the implementation of the Emergency Project by UNOPS, aims to make the experience and knowledge of this United Nations organisation available to the Government of Mozambique”.
UNOPS “will have the Northern Integrated Development Agency (ADIN), and the National Fund for Sustainable Development (FNDS), as counterparts in the coordination and implementation of the planned activities”, reads the Presidency’s communique.
Filipe Nyusi will be accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Celso Correia;members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
