The President of Zanzibar, Dr. Hussein Mwinyi, has today, April 8 2021, arrived in Maputo, ready to attend and extraordinary SADC Summit to discuss security crisis in Mozambique, Tanzania’s Daily News reports.
Dr. Hussein represents President Samia Suluhu Hassan in a one-day summit which involves heads of states of the SADC member states, adds the same source.
The summit will be centred on security and counter-terrorism for its member state, writes the Daily News Tanzania
They expect to plan the way forward after insurgents attacked Cabo Delgado again last month, reads the report.
