The State of Mozambique’s Hidden Debts in Switzerland
FMO will be hosting a Webinar that will examine “The State of Mozambique’s Hidden Debt in Switzerland”. This Webinar aims to reflect on the current situation of the Mozambique’s hidden debt scandal in Switzerland.
This Webinar takes place two weeks after the Court of Appeal for England and Wales decided to refer the complaint filed by the Attorney General’s Office against 12 defendants involved in the hidden debts to the arbitral forum, contrary to the decision of the first instance that had considered the English courts to be competent to judge the matter. And the case can go on to international arbitration in Switzerland.
This Friday’s Webinar will take place from 9:30 am to 11:00 am and will have a panel with the following personalities:
