Mozambique: Without Mondlane, Podemos will be "adrift, doing little"

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, will address the nation, this Thursday, at 7 pm, within the scope of the Situation of Public Disaster.
The communication from the Head of State will be made in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country.
Filipe Nyusi’s last address to the nation was on February 4th. At the time, the country had a register of 42,488 infections with the new coronavirus, since the first Covid-19 case was reported by the Ministry of Health, on March 22 of last year,. By this Wednesday, the country had a cumulative of 60,395 positive cases.
However, the Ministry of Health reports that recoveries now reach 44.002, of which 2,589 reported in the space of 48 hours ( 1,384 recoveries reported on Tuesday and 1.205 reported on Wednesday).
In fact, on March 3 (Wednesday) MISAU reported three more Covid-19 deaths in Mozambique, 481 new cases, 1.205 recoveries, 18 hospital admissions and 30 hospital discharges.
The Covid-19 death toll rose from 427, on February 4, to 688, on and March 3.
During the same period, active Covid-19 i cases in the country also decreased, from 16,638 to 15,721.
Hospitalisations dropped from 335 to 188, in the same period ( from February 4 to March 3).
Meanwhile, the President of the Republic held, yesterday, a meeting with representatives of the sports sector, namely federations, to discuss the situation of the new coronavirus, having stressed the need to perform tests to control the disease in different modalities.
