Mozambique: Almost 100 new cases of cholera in Nampula

A gang of eight individuals shot a trade in Muaruaneque, Cuamba district, Niassa province, this Monday (01-03), ‘Noticias’ reports.
The victim, who was seriously injured in his abdomen, was surprised by the gang at around 9:00 p.m., as he was returning from Nampula to Cuamba.
In addition to shooting the businessman with an AK-47 rifle, the criminals also ambushed a vehicle travelling the Cuamba-Nampula route, taking cell phones and money from all the passengers.
Spokesman for Niassa police, Alves Mate, said that the corporation was investigating the incidents, and asked the public to assist in the inquiry.
Still in Cuamba, police say they have thwarted an attempt to kidnap a child with albinism.
