Post-electoral: Lawyers call for reflection about what 'country wants'

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, received this Friday, in audience, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Marie Tumba Nzeza .
In her capacity as special envoy to the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Marie Nzeza carried a message requesting support from Mozambique for the candidacy of Félix Tshisekedi for the position of executive secretary of the Southern African Development Community, SADC.
At the end of the audience, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Manuel Gonçalves, said that the Head of State took note of the message and asked that the Presidents of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Botswana, who also intends to run for office, find consensus, so that it is just one candidate.
Manuel Gonçalves also said that the President Nyusi and Miinister Nzeza exchanged information on terrorism – a situation which affects both countries – and on the attacks in central part of Mozambique
President Nyusi asked, on the occasion, for support from the Democratic Republic of Congo, for the candidacy of Mozambique to be a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, sponsored by the African Union the ,SDAC and the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, CPLP.
