Diplomatic tensions are brewing over antigen COVID-19 tests between South Africa and Mozambique.
Antigen is the rapid COVID-19 test, with 20 to 40 minutes results.
Both countries don’t accept the antigen tests from each other.
Travellers and truck drivers are stuck at the Lebombo border post, leading to long queues at both sides of the borders.
Meanwhile, the portfolio committee on Home Affairs has called for the closure of the Lebombo and Beitbridge borders.
