Mozambique: ExxonMobil donates computers to eight Pemba secondary schools

Two women, 70 and 83 years of age, died of Covid-19 in the Mozambican capital on Saturday, the Ministry of Health reported this Sunday, along with 142 more infections and 23 recoveries.
The victims are both Mozambican, and had been admitted to hospital in Maputo. A 60-year-old man also died of Covid-19 in Maputo on Saturday.
Of a total of 685 patients hospitalised since the onset of the pandemic in Mozambique, of whom 26 remain hospitalized in isolation centres and other health units.
Mozambique’s Covid-19 death toll stands at 142, of which 110 deaths occurred in the Mozambican capital, the Ministry of Health reported.
Another 142 cases of Covid-19 were registered over Saturday and Sunday, most of them in the city of Maputo (82). All patients are in isolation at home and contact mapping is ongoing.
The cumulative number of infections reached 16,954, according to the Ministry of Health, which also increased the number of those accounted fully recovered to 14,818 (87.4%), with a further 23 recoveries reported from Cabo Delgado province – 22 Mozambicans and one Portuguese.
There are currently 1,990 active cases in Mozambique, 1,611 of which are in the city of Maputo.
