Mozambique: Three judges dismissed for corruption - AIM report

On November 26th 2020, the Beluluane Industrial Park (BIP), in partnership with other Park companies namely; DUYS, TEMOC, Laresh, Capital Star Steel, Hytec and Engprojects donated food hampers and hygiene products to more than 250 elderly people from seven villages located in Matola-Rio, District of Boane. The handover event was officiated by the Office of the Wife of the Governor of Maputo.
The donations made last Thursday consisted of 250 kg of mealie meal, 500 kg of sugar, 500 litres of oil, 125 kg of beans and 250 reusable masks.
Mamã Parruque, the wife of the Governor of Maputo, commended the work and support that Beluluane Industrial Park is providing in the Province of Maputo. By ensuring that the elderly are sheltered from food shortages, also contributes to the fight against hunger, that many families face in Mozambique.
On this occasion, Onório Boane, General Manager of the Beluluane Industrial Park, spoke to those present at the event and declared that BIP, in partnership with companies based in the park, would be joining the initiative of the Office of the Wife of the Governor of Maputo, embracing an important social cause and assured that this type of contribution will continue, covering those in need in other regions of Maputo Province. The General Manager also stressed that BIP, and the referred companies based in the Park, have developed several activities to support the most vulnerable echelon the community, especially the elderly, given that they are one of the groups most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
