Mariza is performing in Maputo tonight at the invitation of the Portuguese Embassy of Mozambique, as part of Portugal Day celebrations.
The show will take place at the Polana Hotel and will be attended by the Portuguese Ambassador to Mozambique and ministers representing the Mozambican government.
The singer, daughter of a Portuguese father and Mozambican mother, was born in Maputo and grew up in the Moorish quarter of Mouraria in Lisbon.
