CREMOD: Mozambique delegation explores India's decentralized governance framework

The President of the Republic, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, on Wednesday received in audience the Minister of State for African Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Abdelaziz Kattan, who was on a business visit to our country, a communique from the Presidency of the Republic reads.
On the occasion, both leaders exchanged views on bilateral cooperation, with the Mozambican Head of State appreciating the Saudi Arabian initiative of sending the Minister of State to Mozambique, a fact that marks a new stage in the strengthening of existing relations between the two countries.
Speaking to the press, Mozambique’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Manuel Gonçalves, underlined that President Nyusi reiterated the need to expand cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic area, with a special focus on the business sector.
“In the context of bilateral cooperation, President Nyusi reiterated the importance of holding the first joint commission to define the various stages and the general lines of cooperation. The President of the Republic appreciated and thanked the invitation made to participate in the Middle East-Africa and the Saudi-Arabia-Africa Summits, awaiting the indication of the exact dates for the two conferences. The Minister of State strongly condemned the terrorist acts carried out by insurgents in the north of the country,” Vice Minister Manuel Gonçalves said.
