Mozambique: Dismissed Vilankulo teachers appeal to the Inhambane Administrative Tribunal

A 77-year-old man has died of Covid-19 in Maputo city, bringing the death toll to 95, according to a note from the Ministry of Health.
The Mozambican, who was diagnosed as infected with Covid-19 on 19 October, died in hospital on Monday following a “worsening of his health condition”.
The Ministry of Health on Tuesday reported 72 more people as having contracted the new coronavirus, 71 of them Mozambican and one Lebanese, and all resulting from local transmission.
This brings the number of positive cases registered in the country to 13,202, of which 12,898 are local transmission and 304 imported.
Yesterday, 256 new full recoveries were reported, bringing the cumulative total of patients in that category to 10,695 (81% of those infected).
Of the newly announced recoveries, 130 occurred in the country’s capital, 117 in Maputo province, six in Cabo Delgado and three in Inhambane. All those recovered yesterday are of Mozambican nationality.
The city of Maputo still has the highest number of active cases, with 1,828, followed by Maputo province with 198, and the remaining provinces with less than 160 active infections between them.
There are 484 inpatients in the country, 54 in Covid-19 in-patient centres and other hospital units, and most in the city of Maputo.
