Mozambique’s Minister of Health Armindo Tiago has announced in a statement today that he has recovered from an asymptomatic bout of Covid-19 and will be returning to work.

“Far from being a punishment, isolation was a school. I learned to give more value to the work of each member of society,” he adds in the note, which calls for universal compliance with the pandemic prevention measures.
