Mozambique: Frelimo Secretary General receives in audience representatives of Rizwan Adatia Foundation

Frelimo’s Secretary General Roque Silva received yesterday (August 20, 2020). at his office in Maputo, representatives of the Rizwan Adatia Foundation with whom he exchanged views on the Foundation’s humanitarian actions in Mozambique, reads a report published on the Frelimo party Facebook page ‘Frelimo Moçambique’ [ please see below].

The Foundation representatives delivered a donation consisting of 100 surgical masks, 100 infrared thermometers, 100 medical protection gloves, 100 surgical caps and 100 N95 masks, to support Frelimo Covid-19 prevention mobilisation and awareness campaigns.

Foundation representative Alexandre Rosa said that the delivery of the material fell within the scope of the Foundation’s social responsibility programme, in recognition of the role that Frelimo had played since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in raising awareness and supporting people in need.

Frelimo’s Secretary General Roque Silva Samuel thanked them on behalf of the party and its more than four million members, promising that the support would help them intervene with greater force in alleviating the suffering of those Mozambicans who have difficulties in accessing resources.

He praised the work carried out by the Foundation in the areas of education, health, water supply, social support and entrepreneurship, noting that it strengthened the implementation of Frelimo’s national development agenda.

He reiterated that Frelimo would continue to work hard on the eradication of Covid-19 in Mozambique and worldwide.

In another development, Roque Silva Samuel invited the Foundation and other segments of Mozambican society to join in the repudiation of all terrorist actions causing pain and destruction in Cabo-Delgado and in the centre of the country, calling for solidarity with the victims of the terrorist attacks and those displaced in Cabo Delgado and Nampula, and in the province of Manica, victims of attacks by the Renamo military junta.

SECRETÁRIO GERAL DA FRELIMO RECEBE EM AUDIÊNCIA REPRESENTANTES DA FUNDAÇÃO RIZWAN ADATIA

O Secretário Geral da FRELIMO, Roque Silva recebeu hoje dia 20 de Agosto de 2020, no seu Gabinete de trabalho, Cidade de Maputo, representantes da Fundação Rizwan Adatia, com quem trocou impressões sobre ações humanitárias desenvolvidas no país.

Na ocasião os representantes da fundação procederam entrega de um donativo constituída por um total de 100 máscaras cirúrgicas, 100 termometros infravermelhos, 100 luvas de protecção médica, 100 tocas cirúrgicas e 100 máscaras N95 para o apoio à FRELIMO nas campanhas de mobilização e sensibilização da população na prevenção da Covid 19 que Moçambique e o mundo.

Alexandre Rosa, representante da Fundação, disse que a entrega do material enquadra-se no âmbito da responsabilidade social da Fundação , e no reconhecimento do papel que a FRELIMO tem desempenhado desde a eclosão da Pandemia da Covid 19 , no País na promoção de campanhas de sensibilização e de apoio à pessoas carênciadas no âmbito da prevenção desta doença mortífera

O Secretário Geral da FRELIMO, Roque Silva Samuel, agradeceu em nome da direccão central do Partido e dos mais de 4 milhões de membros, garantindo que este apoio vai ajudar a intervir com muita força no alivio ao sofrimento daqueles Moçambicanos que têm dificuldades no acesso à recursos.

Enalteceu o trabalho desencadeado pela Fundação RIZWAN nas áreas de educação, saúde, abastecimento de água, apoio social, na componente de empreendedorismo, referindo que fortalece a implementação da agenda nacional de desenvovimento.

Reiterou que a FRELIMO continuará a trabalhar afincadamente na erradicação da Covid-19, em Mocambique e no mundo.

Num outro desenvolvimento, Roque Silva Samuel, convidou a fundação e através dela a outros segmentos da sociedade Moçambicana no sentido de aderir ao movimento de condenação e repudio a todas acções terroristas que tem estado a provocar dor, luto e destruição na Província de Cabo-Delgado e na zona centro do País, apelando a solidariedade para com aqueles compatriotas que se encontram na situação de deslocados em Cabo Delgado e Nampula, vitimas dos ataques terroristas e na Provincia de Manica, vitimas dos ataques da junta militar da renamo.
