Mozambique: German ambassador visits Nampula province

President Filipe Nyusi is paying a working visit to Mozambique’s central Sofala province on Friday, a press release from the Presidency of the Republic received by AIM announces.
The Head of State will first open the 24 de Julho Hospital in the Macúti neighbourhood, and then inaugurate the Sofala Provincial Judicial Court building.
The inauguration of the Epidemic Treatment Centre is also on the President’s agenda, as well as a visit to the laboratories of the Industrial and Commercial Institute of Beira.
On the same date, the Mozambican head of state will conduct extraordinary sessions of the Provincial Executive Council and the Council of State Representation Services in the province, as well as a joint assessment session with the Council of the State Representation Services in the province and the Provincial Executive Council, extended to district administrators and other staff.
President Nyusi will be accompanied on his visit by the ministers of State Administration and Public Service, Ana Comoane; of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, João Machatine; of Health, Armando Daniel Tiago; of Science, Technology, Higher Education and Technical Professional Training, Gabriel Ismael Salimo; of Transport and Communications, Janfar Abdulai; and Deputy Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs, Filimão Joaquim Suazi, together with members of staff of the Presidency and other state institutions.
