Oil falls as potential Ukraine peace deal may ease supply disruptions
This Monday (July 6), Mozambique surpassed the barrier of 1000 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, after registering another 25 positive cases. Therefore, the country currently has 1012 cases, of which 930 are for community transmission and 82 are imported.
Of the newly diagnosed cases, one is from Niassa province, three are from Cabo Delgado, five from Nampula, one from Tete, three from Gaza, one from Maputo province and one from Maputo city.
On the other hand, in the last 24 hours, seven more individuals recovered from the disease, thus the country has 277 recovered patients and eight deaths due to Covid-19 and two more deaths for other reasons.
Thus, Mozambique currently has 725 active cases, of which 153 are from Cabo Delgado, 12 from Niassa, 289 from Nampula, 11 from Zambézia, 18 from Tete, 18 from Manica, 18 from Sofala, 19 from Inhambane, 14 from Gaza, 75 from Maputo province and 98 from Maputo city.
