Mozambique Stock Exchange wants 30 listed companies by 2028
Helena Mateus Kida served as Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Mozambique from January 2020 to January 2025.
Helena Mateus Kida was born on 12th of October 1971 in Metangula district, Niassa province.
Kida did her primary studies at Frelimo School in Maputo until 1986. She continued her secondary education at the Francisco Manyanga Secondary School, where she finished her level in 1988.
She attended and graduated from the Eduardo Mondlane University Law School (UEM) in 1997 and in 2004 she completed her master’s degree in Law at the Federal University of Bahia-UFBA in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil. Later, in 2005, he completed the initial course for entry to the Judiciary at the Centre for Legal and Judiciary Training.
Judicial Magistrate by profession, Kida, from 2006 to 2008 served as District Judge of the Chibuto Judicial Court in Gaza province. From 2008 to 2010 she was also assigned as Judge at Boane District Court, from 2010 to 2011, Kida moved as Judge to the 3rd Section of Kampfumo District Court in Maputo City Judicial Court and from 2011 to 2015 she was assigned as Judge at the Criminal Investigation Section of Maputo Province Judicial Court, and from 2015 to 2017 she moved to the 4th Labour Section of the same Court. In 2017, she was transferred to the Police Court, and in the same year she was assigned to the position of Deputy Minister of Interior.
