Gamito reappointed president of the Constitutional Council of Mozambique

The president, Filipe Nyusi, has reappointed Hermenegildo Gamito as president the Constitutional Council for another five-year term.
The Constitutional Council is Mozambique’s supreme body in matters pertaining to the constitution, and administers justice in legal and constitutional matters.
The Constitutional Council is currently awaiting a formal request to assess the legality of loan guarantees given by the state in favour of EMATUM, Proindicus and MAM.
