A long time ago, when the moon felt sorry for us and lit up the night, there were stories and fire and corn and manioc and sweet potatoes baked in the ashes of our fire. We in a circle, sitting in deceased trees or in their formerly amputated parts, told stories and the elders closed with mastery, with lessons that taught us more than the multiplication tables.
Mulandi Semende Mazoio tells us, on the virtual wheel of burning wood, the stories he sees, hears, dreams and imagines.
