About event:
This workshop aims to initiate circus theatrical arts through juggling, dancing, acting and acrobatics. From theatrical games, the participants' bodies and minds will be activated. Soon after, we will briefly explain the circus-theater concept, and the juggling concept, entering the construction of sand balls and socks, plastic, balloons and other materials that can be found in homes.
The goal is for children to learn:
1. How to pick up the object
2. How to launch the object
3. Basic figures of juggling.
Then, we entered the acrobatics part, with the proposal of basic figures, safe and easy to do in any home. The workshop will be directed by Estreanty (Ernesto Langa) and Kuryo (Fenias Nhumaio).
About the Estreanty and Kuryo:
Estreanty, stage name of Ernesto Langa, actor and director in the company of Artes Makwerhu, creator and coordinator of the first street theater festival in Maputo - Kuphanda festival. He wrote and directed the play ku phanda in 2012, Machoman 2014, A Boca 2016, Munhama 2017.
He is part of the circus show “Maputo - Mozambique” as an interpreter. He participated in several circus and theater workshops in Mozambique and France. He conducts theater classes at the French School.
Fenias Issaque Nhumaio lives in Maputo -Mozambique, since he was very young he was always interested in experimenting with various possibilities of movement, using the body as an instrument of application. From the first dance steps, performing arts to acrobatic movements
Nothing is more interesting for you when the body does not actively apply, associated with rhythm, jumping, running, spinning and looking for new possibilities to combine and associate it with other objects and animated bodies make this figure live its artistic purpose.
