Mozambique: Still no date for the start of the N1 rehabilitation - Watch
The Bank of Mozambique (BM) has revealed that remittances from Mozambicans living and working abroad rose to US$157 million last year.
According to the central bank, Mozambicans in the diaspora sent home $157.9 million in 2019, an increase of US$26.7 over 2018’s US$131.2.
The figure includes money earned by Mozambicans working in mines in South Africa.
