The National Director of Public Health, Rosa Marlene, has just informed that there are two more cases of Coronavirus in the country. After two consecutive days without any increase, in the last 24 hours the number of infected people increased to 41. With eght recoveries, the total of active cases now stands at 31.
According to Rosa Marlene, to date, 1,247 suspected cases were tested, 84 of which in the last 24 hours. Thus, at this moment, our country has 41 positive cases, 33 of which are local and 8 imported.
The two cases of infection maintained contact with positive individuals in Afungi, Cabo Delgado Province.
It should be noted that in the last 24 hours, a cumulative total of 2,483,180 cases and 170,501 deaths was recorded worldwide.
