Mozambique targets universal access to drinking water by 2029

Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi has called the first meeting of the joint government-Renamo committee charged with laying the groundwork for the resumption of peace talks in Mozambique for Wednesday (May 24).
According to a presidency statement sent to Lusa indicating the date and place of the meeting – the Secretariat of the National Council of Defence and Security in Maputo – the invitation was sent by letter to the office of Afonso Dhlakama, leader of the Mozambican National Resistance (Renamo).
