Visa issuance to China unchanged in Mozambique – Chinese embassy | Lusa report

The issuing in Maputo of visas to travel to China is proceeding normally and without interruption, an official source at the Chinese embassy in Mozambique told Lusa yesterday, after an announcement to the contrary by some elements of the Mozambican government.
“The issuance of visas on our side here in Maputo for Mozambicans and citizens of other countries is normal. It has not undergone any changes; we have not suspended the issuance of visas to China,” the source said.
No one has made any formal contact with the diplomatic representation about measures related to the issuance of visas or the prevention of the spread of the coronavirus, the source added.
