A vehicle of the Borders Division of the Mozambique Police (PRM) crashed and overturned last weekend in Cabo Delgado’s Muidumbe district, leaving several people with injuries ranging from minor to serious.
Augusto Guta, a spokesman for the corporation at the PRM provincial command in Cabo Delgado, confirmed the accident without giving the number of police officers injured or travelling in the vehicle, or clarifying the cause of the accident.
For more details, Guta referred our reporter to the routine weekly press conference on Wednesday, presenting a summary of all police business in that part of the country.
Pictures of the incident show that, in addition to PRM agents, the vehicle was apparently carrying civilians, including children.
