About the events
Both events are taking place in the Cultural Center of the Eduardo Mondlane University (CCUEM), Av. Agostinho Neto No. 926 in Maputo -October 22nd and 25th, 2019 at 19h00.
The events will bring together a cast of musicians from Mozambique, South Africa, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States and of course Italy, who will perform for in the first concerts works from Beggio, Chopin, Berio, Glass, Luzi and Puccini and for the second concerts, extracts from Italian operas by Donizetti, Rossini and Verdi.
The Mozambique Classical Cycle (MCC), consists of a series of classical music concerts, initiated by the lyric singers Stella Mendonça and Sónia Mocumbi. MCC presents different attractions in every concert with internationally renowned artists, with the aim of sharing didactic aspects of classical music.
