About the movie
After 4 years in prison, Bruno (34) is a free man and is returning to Maputo with his girlfriend Mia and daughter. He gets a job at a scrap dealer and lives an honest life when he is suddenly taken aback by a bank summons, referring to a loan his late mother had borrowed. Either he pays, or he loses the house. Determined to maintain his mother's house and dignity, with no alternative, he becomes involved with his former gang, and soon finds himself embroiled in a web of kidnappings, benefiting a ruthless boss. Under pressure, Bruno devises a plan that affronts the boss, and endangers his family's life.
