About the event
Dorothy is a play that portrays the story of a lady who deviated from family standards by running away with a South African. She got lost and became involved with several men with older men as his preference. Time after losing her son, Dorothy swore that she had to be a lady of good conception, then taking refuge in the shelter of the widows cousins (D. Flávia, Maura and Carmelita), who lived in a room-only house, because they believed that It is in the room where flesh and soul are lost. They looked at sex as sin, ugliness as the scarecrow of the devil, beauty as a curse, and disease as a purification of the soul.
