About the event
SIZODIVANA MASX 20 is a musical concert that will bring CCFM a musical diversity from all over the country. Rhythms like Mandoa, Kete Kete, Nhambaro, Xigubo, Nsiripwite, Ngalanga, Mapiko and others will be part of the repertoire.
One of the objectives of the concert is the promotion of the International Cultural Exchange called Mozambique Afro Swing Exchange which in its 5th edition will take place in Maputo from 9 to 15 March 2020, involving 70 international participants and 70 local artists.
Sizodivana is a Rhonga, Changana and Zulu word meaning "We will find". In life there are various situations that rob us of our identities, that keep us away from the people we love the most, who make us live far away from those we want closer. Under all circumstances we must never give up because we will always meet again somewhere.
SIZODIVANA MASX 20 is a mix of various artistic and cultural expressions from music to dance to poetry. The concert will feature the trio Irmãos Beirenses who will bring the rhythm and Utse dance to the opening of the event.
Irmãos Beirenses is a group composed of 3 elements belonging to the company of dance and traditional rhythms of the city of Beira named Malelambeu.
