Four men beheaded in Muidumbe – Carta

Four men were beheaded by insurgents last Saturday in the Miangalewa fields [‘machambas’] in the Muidumbe district of Cabo Delgado province. The attack by the armed group that has terrorised the province since October 2017 took place during the day.
According to sources, the victims were surprised in their agriculture plots near the Messalo River in the third attack there in less than 40 days. Sources cited by ‘Carta de Moçambique’ said the victims were accompanied by a woman whose life was spared so that she would go tell the community what had happened.
