Maputo province could be hit by winds gusting up to 70 km/h over the coming days.
The situation is due to the cold fronts which occur seasonally in August and may affect the cities of Maputo and Matola and the districts of Matutuine, Marracuene and Manhiça.
The Head of the Weather Forecasting Department at the National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) said the winds will not cause major damage, but will create discomfort due to dust and falling tree branches.
