About the event
A reflection on the negative implications related to the communities living in the junkyard, Armando (the protagonist) shows a future, but an abstract perception of his vision, of his neighborhood, which is the space that suffers from waste pollution, to show that change can come from anywhere in this case, from your art.
Armando is a shy, educated and intelligent young man of 20 years of low class, painting is his passion. He attends the arts school, which is located in the central district of maputo. Armando lives with his mother in a humble residence in the scrap yard of Hulene. Coming from a poor family, his uncle, Mr. Santos, his late father's brother, offered to help with Armando's school fees, so that Armando could follow his passion for the art of painting.
Good-hearted Uncle Santos, concerned about Armando's education, took him from the bumpy neighborhood of the junkyard to his home in the city, so that Armando would not be far from school and also fearing that Armando was involved in bad company, consequently, not letting him frequently visit his mother in the Hulene neighborhood.
