About the event
The CCMA - Mozambican-German Cultural Center, Goethe-Zentrum Maputo and the Poetas D'Alma Collective will hold from July 25 to 27, 2019 the first edition of the International Festival of Poetry and Performative Arts in Maputo to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Poetry Night program, one of the most important and influential performing arts events in the country and the region.
The Poetas D'Alma International Festival (Poetry and Performative Arts) aims to celebrate the art of the word, the expression of creativity through art, the cultural exchange between artists and peoples, and is therefore an important platform for the demonstration of the cultural diversity and identity of the country and the world.
The event, which will last three days, is attended by artists from more than 10 countries, including Germany, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mozambique, Eswatini, United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Reunion Island, Spain, Angola, Madagascar ...
The diverse program of the International Festival of Poetry and Performative Arts includes the presentation of the artists by country, among poetry shows, music, exhibitions, after parties and other forms of artistic intervention on stage, space for interaction between artists and the public, book fair , disc and crafts and also workshops in the academy and community. As you can see, the entire program, including the spaces chosen for the festival activities and even the presence of several countries, provides a favorable environment for the exhibition of trademarks that join the event as partners and sponsors.
