The Confederation of Mozambican Economic Associations (CTA) is encouraging regional associations in northern Mozambique to organise themselves in order to benefit from financing packages and other support services available.
The CTA met companies and associations at a meeting in Nampula on Thursday and presented programmes to strengthen the institutional capacity of provincial business delegations.
Agostinho Vuma, chairman of the CTA, said that it was worrying that many associations were not able to meet the requirements for access to financing. He acknowledged that there were limitations and encouraged the associations to better organise themselves.
