About the event
The June exhibition of the Fernando Leite Couto Foundation Gallery presents the works of Leidito Penga and Bruno Pais, two Mozambican artists with traits marked by similarities in their creative process.
Young creators explore different ways of making art, using techniques beyond what can be described as reusing materials. Leidito, the pioneer, found in the sawdust a solution to compose his works, either on canvas or on the net, giving art lovers new narratives and recreating compositions of nature.
Bruno Pais, with clay he creates figures in human forms and expresses the strength of the man who, perhaps was lost in the course of time. And for Leidito trees are the sources used to convey to art lovers, using the forms of nature, reusing wood, already in sawdust to present varied aesthetic suggestions.
