Mozambique: Literacy workers in Beira go on strike

A 6-year-old boy has been shot in the chest by a stray bullet in Jangamo district, Inhambane. The bullet is presumed to have come from the police shooting range there.
The incident occurred between 11 and 12 o’clock, when the child was returning from school.
The bullet is still embedded in the child’s body, and doctors consider his condition critical.
Provincial police command say they do not as yet have any knowledge of the case.
