About the event
The presentation of the book, which has the seal of Editora Laces, will be carried out by the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Mozambique, Ragendra de Sousa and the chairman of the Board of Directors of Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH), Omar Mithá.
The book discusses the importance of the global value chain in the context of corporate social responsibility in Mozambique. Through a case study of two multinational companies, the research also reveals the vision of the different stakeholders, regarding the strategies for the implementation of social responsibility in the provinces of Tete and Maputo, respectively, where they are established. The study also presents the vision of the Community and Local Government in what concerns the actions of these multinationals and their relationship with the communities in their surroundings. Finally, the research brings, in a comparative way, the evidence of the implementation of social responsibility actions of both companies in the country.
About Raimundo Alfândega Mateço
Raimundo Alfândega Mateço holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) School of Business Administration, in São Paulo - Brazil, in 2016; Master in Administration and Management of Education at Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM), in 2008; Degree in Planning, Administration and Management of Education from Pedagogical University (UP) in 2005; Graduated in Physical Education and Sports Education at UP in 2002.
He was born on February 7, 1969, in Báwè, Mutarara District, Tete province. In 1979, he completed Pre-Primary (4th grade) in Báwé-Mutarara; In 1982, he completed the 6th grade in the Secondary School of the Administrative Post of Inhangoma, in Mutarara; In 1985, he finished the Teachers course at the Zóbwè Primary Teacher Training Center in the Moatize district, Tete province.
Currently, he is Senior Technician of the National System of Evaluation, Accreditation and Quality Assurance at the Higher Institute of Management, Accounting and Finance and is Head of the Department of Scientific Direction and Publications at the Gwaza-Muthini Higher Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship.
