The closing of some accommodation centres in Chimoio is worrying victims of Tropical Cyclone IDAI, who claim that conditions for them to return to their homes have not yet been created.
Some accommodation centres in Chimoio have been closed.
One such is the Tracapasso Primary School. Amina says that, since leaving the accommodation centre, she has not received any help, a sentiment shared by a 62-year-old old woman who claims to be living in insecure conditions.
Others accuse the head of the neighbourhood block of advocating the removal of Cyclone Idai victims from the accommodation centre.
