About the event
An interesting story based on a classic 'The Little Prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry', but with a modernized interpretation. Instead of an aviator who falls in the desert and meets a curious little boy, it is an astronaut who falls on Mars and meets a little girl who is venturing through space.
The play tells the whole journey made by the Little Princess to discover a true friendship. Several characters and situations have been adapted from the classic, which is the second most translated literary work in the world (270 languages) with the exception of the Bible
With the authorship of Brazilian author Leandro Franz, the artistic orientation of the Brazilian actor based in Maputo Expedito Araujo and costumes by the Mozambican stylist Chelly Emília, brings in the cast Chana Benje, Diana Franco Muianga, Jéssica Garbo, Jujuba, Káwany, Lacimane Láurence, Mercis, Mindo Quehá, Nenah Tembe, Rivaldo Munguambe and Socalizzy.
This is a scenic exercise resulting from the project "Theater as a Tool for Social, Citizen and Inclusion Transformation" idealized and coordinated by the actor Expedito Araujo for nine months in a totally voluntary character with the purpose of group formation. The project began in March this year with more than 100 young and adult actors and non-actors attending activities at CCBM.
It started with two groups, and after this period in a natural selection process came the group formed by eleven members to follow for the last stage of the project, extremely pedagogic, which consists of a presentation as a scenic exercise, for the completion of this year's works
