It will feature the presentations of writer Marcelo Panguana and communicator Circle Langa. The first speaker will focus on the content and the second, in turn, will take an approach taking into account the visual aspects of the book.
About the book
The Wart of the Hammer is a collection of six short stories, deep and carefully written that plunges into the social problems of Mozambicans. According to the author, it is a work that portrays the difficulties, the daily struggles, the suffering of every Mozambican in search of a solution to their pains. In the book, the author makes an analogy between this type of skin cancer - wart - with the life of the Mozambican, "because the wart is a suffering that embraces the individual, accompany him throughout his life, but does not kill suddenly," he deciphers.
About Ganhanguane Masseve
Ganhanguane Masseve is a writer and cultural activist. Author of several literary genres, from romance, poetry and short stories. Won the 2012 edition of the Literary Prize of the Bank of Mozambique with the book The Three Women of Malunga, published by Livaningo Cartão d'arte (now Kuvaninga) in 2015.
The Hammer wart is his second literary work.
