The Mozambican-German Cultural Centre (CCMA), in partnership with the Mozambican-German Economic Development Agency (AHK), the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Standard Bank Incubator, invites young artists to participate in the CREATEC Creative Industry and Digital Business project.
The aim of this initiative is to introduce creative talents to digital innovations (ICTs) and cultivate an entrepreneurial mind-set that will allow an improved positioning of your products and business in the market.
The project will begin by bringing together young artists and developers in an intensive immersive training programme on 14, 15 and 16 February.
The bootcamp will have facilitators from the ideaLab, MOZDEVZ and MAPAL C-Com to guide the learning process of the participants, and is funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Participants will leave the bootcamp with prototypes that they will then have the opportunity to improve over the following two weeks, and will then present to a diverse audience in a pitch format at the final event on 21 March.
We are looking for artists from 18 to 36 years old with business ideas in their areas (film, photography, literature, music, dance, theatre, fashion, art, among others) who see value in learning about design thinking and collaborating with ICT specialists.
The total participation price is 300 MZN, refundable if participants are present on all mandatory days.
