Mozambican businessmen are in Mauritius this week seeking funding for agribusiness and banking projects.
The visit of a business delegation of 25 Mozambican entrepreneurs to Mauritius between January 30 and February 2 could improve the trade relationship between the two countries, the Confederation of Mozambican Economic Associations (CTA) says.
According to the CTA, Mauritian businesspeople are keen to invest in Mozambique’s banking and agribusiness sectors.
Initiatives involving Mozambique and Mauritius may qualify for technical and financial support from the Trade and Development Bank which, according to the CTA, has available funds of more than one million dollars.
