ANE suspends toll payment on Moamba’s Incomati bridge

The National Road Administration (ANE) has temporarily suspended toll payment on the bridge over the Incomati river in Moamba.
This decision follows a strike on Wednesday morning by semi-collective passenger carriers.
The protestors stopped traffic, demanding the suspension of the toll payment.
The strike was influenced by the high state of degradation on the road linking the administrative post of Sábiè to the district headquarter.
The protesting passenger carriers say it does not make sense to pay tolls, considering the damage to the vehicles owing to the degradation of the highway.
