Breaking: Samora Machel Junior banned from running for Maputo mayor as Constitutional Council rejects AJUDEM appeal

The Constitutional Court has decided that AJUDEM, the list headed by Samora Machel Junior, may not run in this year’s local elections, Mozambican journalist Alexandre Nhampossa has announced on Twitter.
O Conselho Constitucional chumbou a lista da AJUDEM que suporta candidatura do Samora Machel Junior. De acordo com o CC, a lista não preenche requisitos suficientes para avançar.
