Sunset Beats by Bombay Sapphire presents: Dj Fortee at South Beach
DJ Fortee was born in Pretoria, South Africa. He started his career in 2005. Hanging around neighbourhood friends who were DJs and learning all he could while playing at small events and parties. These early years had a huge impact on his growth.
Fast-forward to 2010, he began envisioning the party goers grooving to his own produced music. And he set out to teach himself the art of music production. His first big break as a producer was teaming up with DJ Choice on hit song “Ngoba” included on Choice’s 2012 album.
Now he has become a notable force as a DJ Producer within the Mzansi House arena, having worked with leading dance label House Afrika - employing his astutely musical take on afro and soulful-house sub-genres – DJ Fortee is now signed to his own record label Murmur MusiQ which is exclusively marketed and distributed through Sony Music Africa.
