President Nyusi meets Bishop Edir Macedo

President Nyusi met the founder of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (IURD), Bishop Edir Macedo, yesterday morning.
After the meeting, Bishop Macedo said that President Nyusi was promoting peace, and that the purpose of his request for a meeting was to get to know him better and encourage him in his aim.
“We have come to bless this work that is of the utmost importance to the people of Mozambique. I leave this audience very happy, because my reception was very good. I see that the hand of God is acting in him, because there is no authority that does not come from God, and God raised him to this position, to bring peace to the people of Mozambique,” Bishop Macedo said.
