Music Therapy Seminar
The IVERCA Association, in partnership with AVVI - Vanghano Va Infulene Association and the Italian organizations - Diapason and Antoniano Onlus, with the support of the Regione Emilia Romagna, will host a seminar of music therapy.
The seminar is part of the "Harmoniously" project, a non-formal educational approach that provides for the use of music therapy and theater to stimulate particular processes of verbal and non-verbal communication.
The project aims, on the other hand, to increase learning, enhance memory, autonomy, expressive capacity and self-awareness in children. The project is developed in the city of Maputo, specifically in the Mafalala neighborhood.
The project's intervention at Mafalala is based on a precautionary approach to drugs, sexual abuse and other behaviours that children and adolescents may be victims.
This action has as a great innovation the approach of psychology techniques associated with work.
