Mozambique: Chapo convenes the Council of State and summons Venâncio Mondlane

Fifteen armed Renamo men were killed in military clashes in Nhassacara in Manica’s Báruè district on Sunday, an Interior Ministry source who declined to be named confirmed yesterday, Folha de Maputo reports.
Three others were injured and required medical treatment but are now out of danger. There were no government casualties.
The huts housing the men, thought to be part of the Renamo leader’s personal guard In Nhassacara, were burnt to the ground.
