Mozambique: Lack of patrolling may encourage return of terrorists - AIM
Mozambique police in Gaza have recovered 20 stolen vehicles.
In fact, in the last month, the province, usually considered the calmest in the country, registered a particularly high incidence of crime rate, especially the theft of vehicles.
Of the cars recovered by the police, most were stolen in the city of Xai-Xai, and many of them have not yet been reclaimed by their owners.
In addition to the recovery of the vehicles, police operations culminated in the arrest of some of the thieves.
Also in Xai-Xai, two young people have been arrested on suspicion of being part of a gang forging vehicle registration certificates.
The police spokesman in Gaza says authorities are stepping up operations to completely eradicate car theft in the province.
